Scott R. Lawson, 42, of Tiffany Avenue, a delivery driver for Hood Dairy, died February 18, 2003, at Shepherd Spinal Rehabilitation Center, Atlanta. He was the husband of Julie M. (Davis) Lawson. Born in Pensacola, Fla., a son of Constance (Chace) Lawson of Coventry and the late Chester Lawson, he had been a resident of Warwick since 1969. He was employed by Hood in Taunton, Mass., as a driver for six years. He was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed fishing with his son. Besides his wife and his mother he leaves a son, Seth A. Lawson at home; and four sisters, Christine O. Peterkin of Coventry, Carol A. Lawson in the Netherlands, Linda J. Antonio of East Greenwich and Janine S. Beker of Warwick. The funeral was held from Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane. Burial was in Pawtuxet Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Shepherd Spinal Rehabilitation Center, 2020 Peachtree St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30309 would be appreciated.
