Father of Constance Lawson and the Late Edwin H. Chace. Grandfather of Christine Peterkin, Carol Lawson, Linda Antonio, Scott Lawson and Janine Becker. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Monday at 11:00 AM in St. Martin's Episcopal Church. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, New Bedford. Calling hours are Sunday from 3-5 PM in the DONAGHY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 465 County Street, New Bedford. He worked at Ogden Hardware, New Bedford, MA for 15 years. Started working there at age 15. Went to work at Atlas Tack, New Bedford, MA in 1940 and worked there for 32 years as a machine operator (Eyelet Maker). Retired in 1972.
