Moved to the US on SS Franconia from Liverpool 17 Oct 1914, arriving in New York 31 Oct 1914. Age 22, occupation Mill Operator, contact address England: father Roger Fenton, 85 Bradford St, Oldham, Lancashire. Passage paid by her aunt Mrs Elisabeth Tyrer, 341 Bowditch St, New Bedford, Mass. , staying at same address. Good health, 5 feet, medium complexion, dark hair, brown eyes.

- The 'aunt' Mrs Elizabeth (Worden) Tyrer was in 1914 (city directory New Bedford) a widow of Thomas, at the same address also live: Ethel Tyrer, weaver; George Tyrer, fixer; and Kezia E Tyrer, weaver. Elizabeth moved to the States in 1909.
They (Elizabeth, George, Kezia and Annie) arrived in Boston with the SS Ivernia on 14 Oct 1909. As contact address in England she gives 4 Hollins Grove St, Darwen (grand mother). Address in the USA, 350 Cotton Ave, New Bedford, Mass. Elizabeth is 5" 6', dark complexion, dark hair and brown eyes. She had 30 dollars.
Elizabeth and her daughter Annie went back to England and arrived back in Boston with the SS Cymric 2 Oct 1913. Address in New Bedford same as above. According to the pass. list she was 42 years and Annie 11 (both a little younger than the 1910 US Census). Elizabeth was 5 feet, medium complexion, grey hair, brown hair. She was born in Liverpool, England. She paid for her own passage and owned more than 50 dollars. She is listed as a widow.
According to the 1901 GB census Elizabeth was a widow, living at 21 Mount Pleasant St, Darwen with her 4 kids.
Elizabeth Worden married Thomas Tyrer 1889 in Darwen, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.
