Gideon Rogers will dated June 23, 1835 states "I give to my daughter Polly Huit Burden five dollars" He also mentions his wife Sarah, son Jephtha, son Gideon, daughter Hannah Whalon, daughter Sybill Whalon, daughter Sarah Samson, daughter Rhoda Chase (deceased), grandchildren Phebe Chase, Jared Chase, Job Chase, Elizabeth Chase, Jonathan Chase, Marcy Chase, Garner Chase, Mary Chase, Ebenezer Chase, and Gideon Chase. (The Chase grandchildren were left five dollars to be divided equally among them) Daughter Marcy Mosher, son Joel Packard Rogers, daughter Lois Reed, son John Rogers (To whom he left his homestead)
The willl was witnessed by Samuel B Reed, Willard Reed and John Rogers

He was in Dartmouth and was a soldier of the Revolution from that town. He served as sergeant in Captain Job Cook's (Sixteenth) company. Colonel Hathaway's (Second Bristol County) regiment, from August 4 to August 8, 1780, on an alarm at Rhode Island, roll sworn to at Dartmouth.
